Si sono tenuti ieri, 8 febbraio, i prestigiosi Brit Awards 2022, in scena alla O2 Arena di Londra la cerimonia di consegna dei riconoscimenti discografici da parte dell’industria discografica del Regno Unito. Le premiazioni ieri hanno visto brillare la stella di Adele che ha conseguito tre prestigiosi riconoscimenti, tra i più importanti, ovvero “miglior artista dell’anno”, “miglior album dell’anno” e “canzone migliore” con la sua “Easy on me”.
Lei è stata la regina della serata, nulla di fatto per i nostri Måneskin , candidati come “International song of the year” con la loro “I Wanna Be You Slave” e anche in lista come “International Group of the year” , ma nella prima categoria a vincere è stata Olivia Rodrigo con “Good 4 U” e la seconda dai Silk Sonic. Sul podio anche Ed Sheeran come compositore dell’anno.
Billie Eilish e Dua Lipa hanno condotto lo show, con la novità dell’abolizione delle categorie di genere nella nuova logica “gender neutral”.
